I thought that I better shape up cause.I needed something to set my heart on. My future's so unclear, what's left of my career now. Beauty school drop-out, missedmy midterms and flunked shampoo. Nothin' left, nothin' left for me to do. Most mixed up delinquent on the block.

Moments after purchasing this soundtrack, I had chills that started multiplying, and I felt I was losing control. This is the one that I want. I'm a beauty school drop-out, no graduation day for me.
The quality of the recordings are not great, the music is scrambled all over the place -- it left me dissapointed. That's the saddest part. I wasn't to happy with this soundtrack. I am a huge Grease fan.
This is a soundtrack from Grease, and it has all the great music. I really enjoy this CD.
There is a tic (like a record scratch) in "Mooning", and "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing" cuts off too soon.The nine tunes I ripped were: Grease; Summer Nights; Hopelessly Devoted to You; You're the One that I Want; Beauty School Dropout; Greased Lightnin'; Blue Moon (because it's a slow version); Mooning; and We Go Together.FYI, I'm a record collector of 55 years and a sometimes deejay. I wasn't that impressed with Sha-Na-Na's renditions of past hits.My first interest was for danceable numbers. The movie was terrific, but I only found some of the music worth ripping. I generally prefer original hits by original artists. Movie soundtracks can have tempo changes and undanceable introductions and endings, but those sections can be removed after ripping.I found a couple reproduction glitches.
When I started listening to Frankie Valli's "Grease" I was taken back in time and started singing to all the songs from the album. You'll enjoy this soundtrack whether you've seen it on Broadway or watched the original movie itself. When I saw Amazon's special for $2.99 I was like WOW really. My favorite is Olivia & John's "You're the One that I Want" for sure.
